j. Tuition Vacation Week
Each family is given one (1) week of tuition vacation a year for which they will not be required to pay tuition. The year is defined from July to June. Families must give a one (1) month written notice for a tuition vacation week credit to be applied to their tuition. Failure to give a one (1) month notice may result in a family being charged full tuition. The child cannot attend the Academy during the use of the vacation week. If a child receives a sibling discount, their tuition vacation week credit will reflect one week of their discounted rate. Only active students who have been enrolled for a minimum of one (1) month may use their tuition vacation week. Additionally, families may not use their tuition vacation week during the 30-day withdrawal notice period.
Families may not use a tuition vacation week if they have temporarily withdrawn their child during the year (defined July through June). Additionally, parents may not request to use a tuition vacation week if they are temporarily withdrawing their child between May 1st and August 31st.
Parents who request a tuition vacation week credit should not make a manual payment before the credit is applied to their invoice. Tuition vacation week credits are applied once an invoice has been posted to a billing account. If a manual payment is made, the Academy will do its best to honor the request by applying the credit to the next invoice. If a manual payment is made in June before a tuition vacation week credit is applied, parents will forfeit their tuition vacation week for the year (defined July through June).
